Sign Language animals
We will make artwork that combines the American Sign Language sign for an animal and a drawing of the animal.
1) Practice drawing your own hand on scratch paper
2) Choose the sign you will use
4) Choose the image of the animal you will reference
5) Draw the hands signing large on your project paper and trace with two different sharpies
6) Water color the hands with coffee
7) Draw the animal on top of the hands
8) Use water color to paint the animal monochromatic (different shades and tints of one color)
